So was playing a game with HDR enabled and tried to launch oculus (with headset), Monitor Display goes "crazy" changing between different outputs and resolutions. Second time I waited long enough so the monitor display eventually stopped at some strange input that showed cyan colored badly interlaced small screen, with ghost screen beneath it that was partly off the screen and if I remember right oculus detection led was bright white and eventually the headset screens did wakeup.
Reset computer get's monitor screen back to normal.
More testing: No background apps/games running Windows 10 display settings -> HDR and advanced color ON launch Oculus trough headset/with oculus app running -> start headset =display monitor goes black, changing between input modes, while oculus rift headset screen remain black.
HDR and advanced color setting Off, and oculus works normally.
Windows 10 pro up to date (normal) NVidia driver 388.31 Oculus home normal/2.0 beta up to date.
