Won’t accept payment from either PayPal or visa

no matter what I try I cannot add PayPal or visa, I have re both on mobile, on the actual headset and on my computer. On mobile it says “sorry we can’t ad your payment type” for both. On headset it says the same, on pc it doesn’t say it but I never gets added for visa and for PayPal it just lets me to the PayPal page I click accept and it brings me back to the start of the PayPal page

Hey @sedimantryrock,

 

We understand you're having issues adding a payment method to your account. Please be aware users using an unverified PayPal account, or a PayPal account associated to an address in an unsupported location may be asked to change their payment method to a credit card or verified PayPal account.

 

If this does not apply to you, please follow these steps:

 

1. Try to add a payment method to the account from the Meta Horizon mobile app

  • If not successful via the App, try by logging into the Meta account website and navigating to Other Settings > Payment Methods.
  • As you mentioned you been unsuccessful with PC, try using a different browser.

 

2. Try adding the payment method from another device completely (another computer, phone, or tablet.)

3. Try adding the payment method while connected to a different network (another Wi-Fi network or a cellular data connection on a phone, if available).

  • Some non-residential networks may cause this issue. (for example, business, public, government, military, etc.)
  • Certain network security settings may cause this issue, even on residential networks for example, antivirus, firewall, proxy, router-specific settings).
