Hi,
Since the October announcements we have no information on an approximate date of the implementation of Microsoft Teams in Workrooms, Do you have any information?

I was chatting with people in Horizon last night about this and am curious to know what the latest is too.
As you probably know MS have now said they're laying off 10,000 people this year, reportedly many, or all, of their VR/AR staff. They're shutting down altspaceVR and migrating the platform to it's Mesh business focused suite.
Some people are saying this means Mesh is what they're now going to focus on but I'm not sure. The layoffs seem to suggest a possible departure from VR for the time being. It could mean they'll provide Teams or Mesh integration with Workrooms and then leave the rest up to Meta, until the market picks up.
But yeah, I'm interested to know if anyone at Meta can shed some light on what the latest is. Workrooms with Teams/Mesh seemed pretty useful.

Hi!
I‘m happy I came across this chat.
After spending some time searching for potential solutions I have the feeling that there is a mismatch of expectations…
I am super exited using the quest 3 for work. Mesh is ok… but what I would need the most is: chatting via teams! No calls/meetings…
so to enable the Mets browsers to display Teams would be sufficient… for meetings mesh would do..
Does anyone know what’s the problem with the browser? Office/PowerPoint works…
A deeper integration into workrooms would be nice- but if there are no resources… the Browser would do the job…

@WootM4ge - just saw your comment in another chat about this topic. Can you comment? Does this make sense to you??
i have the feeling we‘re aiming for the best - while second best would do the job.

Hey there, @better.care! Thanks for reaching out with your questions; I'd love to answer them to the best of my ability. At this time, I'm not aware of when Microsoft Teams will be coming to Horizon Workrooms as a natural integration. As for access Microsoft Teams through the browser within Workrooms, I'm not aware of what could be preventing it from working as I've never tried it myself. My best recommendation would be to request the implementation for native browser use of Microsoft Team or Microsoft Teams as it's own feature. To do so, I recommend heading over to our Ideas board on our forums, as that is where our engineers go to look for suggestions and updates! Here is a link to our Ideas board! I know this isn't a quick resolution, but I do believe posting in the Ideas board will get traction from our engineers to hopefully have the feature available sooner rather than later. Thank you for your patience
