Workroom - remote desktop fail

Hi!
In Workroom, my pc is not recognized.
I have installed the Remote desktop application but after connecting to the facebook account,
I have a popup which specifies that the headset is not connected while it is seen in the Oculus app, and a new popup connection appears.
I saw that I am not the only one in this situation. Can you help me to solve the issue.

Hi there @Onlymusic, we noticed you are unable to use Workrooms in PCVR. We know not being able to access Workrooms can be inconvenient, and we understand how important it is for you to access it and have your meetings. We would love to assist you on this matter all that we can!

 

Since the we don't have a clear visual of the issue, we will need to ask you to provide us some information.

 

Can you please review the following:

  • Can you please send photos or a YouTube video of the issue?
  • What headset are you using?
  • So you are able to connect to the Oculus PC app, but not from the Workrooms app?
  • Are you able to connect to Workrooms from the online web app? (https://workrooms.workplace.com/)

My headset is a Quest 2.

I can connect to WorkRoom online web.

Hey there, @Onlymusic. Please check to see if your Quest 2 and PC app are on the latest updated software, if you are using a wired connection please check to make sure you have Air link turned off as well.

Same problem with my Quest 3. Tech support recommended me to do a Hard reset. After resetting and uninstall-install, now the Workrooms app only shows a black environment with a message asking me to update Workrooms. 

It's a shame because Workrooms was my killer-app.

 

@pedrocp Sorry you are having this issue! Let's connect, I'd love to help you get this working again. 

 

I'm troubleshooting with some people to resolve any issues, with Workrooms if it was telling you to update .. Was there no update available? A few days ago a number of us were having that issue but it's resolved now.
