Worst customer service ever received.

I am livid. About a month ago I sent my broken touch controllers back to be replaced, and haven't seen them since. In fact, I just got an email that they are out of stock! so now I have to wait, even though my broken controllers have been sitting at the facility for two weeks now, I can't get them back because the oculus is OUT OF STOCK!? What kind of customer service is it, to wait 2 weeks after a return has gotten there, to inform the person that they don't have any more for 2 WEEKS??? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Why am I being told that my problem is being handled and dealt with by the warehouse, only to find out no progress has been made for 2 weeks, and even THEY don't know when they will get more. I actually can't believe it. 0/10 customer service.

Two weeks? totally scandalous. If you haven't been keeping up with the VR and world news. Pretty much all VR gear is out of stock due to the pandemic . I do hope you get yours sooner rather than latter but with the situation, you may be in for a long wait.

Well, I got great support just a few days ago. In fact this is what I wrote to the person at Oculus Support who helped me:

"PS. I know some customers are giving Oculus Support a tough time, and at some point I too was really annoyed being so incredibly sure V13 was to blame (and other users reproduced the error) - but I think you did the most awesome job here - you even tried the CV1 to reproduce the error. I certainly could not ask for more - thank you!"

If you have an Xbox one wireless gamepad you can use that.  I just tried mine and I was able to navigate and select things ok.  Many games work fine with this gamepad.  I just tried Lucky Tails and I think it actually was nicer to play with my Xbox controller than my touch controllers, lol!  Aircar also works well.  Maybe not a perfect solution but at least it may give you a little bit of a VR fix while you are waiting for your replacement controllers.

It must be nice to get support from Oculus. I wrote the most detailed explanation of my issues, all the troubleshooting I have done, one week of logs, etc., just to get a reply a month later saying, "Upon taking a brief look into the log file provided, I see your AMD drivers needs to be updated,
  • You are currently on 26.20.15011.5007 and the latest version is 26.20.15011.10003"
This driver they recommended came out the day before they responded to the ticket I had been waiting a month for a response.

To add insult to injury, "Unplug the cable from the headset and from PC."

I was so livid that I took the time to provide every single step I had done to troubleshoot, and they practically tell me to unplug and plug it back it. And YES, I did do that! I even noted it would take half an hour of doing that exact thing before it worked for all of 15 minutes.
