Hello,
I am trying to play Rocket League in Oculus.
I have the Oculus quest 2 hooked up to my PC with the Air link cable. I have my xbox controller connected to my pc with a cable.
When I start up the game, it seems like the controller works fine, but its also doing things within the airlink interface like I click the buttons and it makes a picture in picture appear, zooming in and out, clicking where the head mouse tracker is etc
How can I get the controller bindings to not affect anything in the Oculus interface, but only the game?
Thanks!

Ayo! This would be so cool to see one day. Imagine playing games like League of Legends, Fortnite, or World of Warcraft on your PC while viewing it on your headset. This would be great to see on the Ideas Page of the forums. There, other users are able to share their ideas and suggestions with other users and developers. That's a pretty rough one because of the way Air Link works, the controller integrates itself for menu navigation. For example, when clicking A on the controller, it will click wherever the dot on the headset is looking, or B will open up the VR keyboard which probably isn't what you want mid air dribble haha. You can connect the gamepad directly to the headset, but it still may not work for PCVR. There isn't really a way to change this because of how the Air Link software was developed, but we've heard that something like Virtual Desktop works just fine when using gamepads through VR.
Since Link with Quest is essentially the same as connecting with a Rift/Rift S, it's a 1:1 connection, meaning gamepad inputs don't pass through. If you have a Bluetooth adapter on your PC, you can try pairing the controller directly to the PC, but there are no guarantees that would work. Your best bet is still Virtual Desktop because of the passthrough for gamepad inputs.

What kind of crappy answer is that. I have my xbox controller connected to my pc, not to my quest 2. Ever time I click A on the controller. it kicks me out of the game.

Same issue for me. It's very disapointing as was really expecting to use my Quest 3 as a very large screen to play PC games along with actual VR games.
tried Virtual Desktop. But the cabled Quest link is the most convincing way of using a PC with the Quest, from my point of view.
@MetaQuestSupport please add our demand to your innovation list. I'm sure this is not such a big deal to handle.

Faced a similar problem, I had to use Virtual Desktop..
It's a shame when native oculus quest applications are much more inferior to third-party applications, both in convenience and quality
