I'm finally resorting to the forums. In any PCVR on my Quest 2, about every 5-15 seconds I get a jarring stutter. This happens in any game such as flight sims (DCS/MSFS) and Subnautica etc. Even in the Oculus link page before I load up a game I can detect the faintest stutter every few seconds and this is aggravated once I start a game.
From what I can tell, frame rates are high and I try to set my settings as low as possible so that my GPU/CPU aren't even fully utilized. I've tried so many different suggestions from audio drivers to the Oculus Tray Tool, game settings, NVIDIA settings, to hardware settings. Nothing changes. I even did a hard reset and lost all my settings trying to get this to work.
Now I know that I'm technically supposed to buy the official link cable, but from what I can tell this one is supposed to be even better: Kuject Cable . It allows a ton of data transfer and keeps the Quest 2 charged as well. I'm pretty sure the cable isn't the problem because without it any other cable won't even allow my Quest 2 to run at all and my Kuject is showing a good 3.0 connection.
Anyway here are my PC specs:
GTX 3070 (latest software installed)
Ryzen 7 5800X3D (supposedly amazing for VR)
32GB Ram (3600MHz)
Windows 11 with on an ultrawide monitor
Link cable directly plugged into my PC and I'm using the open beta software (tried default as well)
Not sure if I expect a solution but at the very least wanted to voice my issues so that hopefully an update will address this.

Howdy there, @JohnnyBon! We recognize that not knowing what might be causing the problems you're having might be a little unsettling. We would like to jump in and help you out. As our Link Cable is composed of optical fiber and is 20 times quicker than standard USB cables, it is preferable to use it. We'll leave the link here of our site for you to check it out if.

I know I'm a little bit late but I'm having this same exact problem! I'm on a kiwi design link cable, so it definitely isn't the cable. You find a solution yet? My specs are: RTX 3060 ti, Intel core i7 12700k, 32GB ram, 500GB SSD, 2TB SSD, 2TB HDD. I'm on windows 11.

I did. You won’t like this but upgrading to a 4090 fixed it for me. I had a 3070 before and it wasn’t even close to what I needed. The stutters were only playing DCS. Since this post there have been some overall software improvements but really I just needed as powerful of a card as possible. I highly recommend a top of the line CPU too if you’re doing flight sims.
