brand new pro controllers won't update

just upgraded to the quest 3, thought I would treat myself to the pro controllers.  starting to regret this choice, the controllers are stuck at updating 0%

I've tried all number of unpairing, rebooting even tried on my quest 2. 

tempted to return them as a big disappointment.

I have the same issue at pairing Quest Pro controllers to Quest 3 and Quest 2,No exact reason can be found on the Internet .There are ome finally updated successfully case, but can not explain how, Just do what they've already Attempted,and oneday it just inexplicably updated.So unscientific.

I tried all the operations MQS suggested,except Factory reset my headset,Not work.

Please Help me,or tell me my

same issue here - attempted pairing Quest Pro controllers to Quest 3... pairing in app went fine, but message saying "Updating" is stuck at 0%.

Attempted:

- Unpair/re-pair many times (sometimes one at a time or both, no difference)

- Factory reset of both controllers multiple times

- Factory reset of headset

- Pairing back to original Quest 3 controllers works fine and those controllers work with no issues

- Switched WiFi networks and verified phone/headset on same WiFi, switched between 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks

- Tried having Pro controllers in charging dock when rebooting, out of charging dock (no change)

- Many restarts and reboots in between various combinations of these steps

 After pairing, controllers do show the flashing purple light for the firmware update. What else can I do to attempt to fix this?

I'm getting an exchange from the shop. if the next pair doesn't work I will get a refund and it will ne another negative review. for a product that's about half the price of the headset again I would expect them to work perfectly.

Hi @Tarbal 

Just to add since you are new to the Pro controllers. You will find that they lose tracking and are a little unreliable for the first few days, keep the faith, this does just seem to disappear like the controllers become more at one with the headset after a while. Don't know why but it was the same with the Quest 2 for me too

FYI - sent the offending pair of Quest Pro controllers back and got a replacement pair (Amazon). The new ones are pairing and starting the update right away, so it seems like it was just that specific set of controllers. Not sure if this is helpful for anyone but will add it here in case anyone else is running into this.
