Hello, I'm interested in buying meta quest 2 but I have a very important question to ask. I'm a music producer, so I was interested to know if, by connecting with cable meta quest 2 to my macbook and opening workrooms, can I use my pc audio without switching from the virtual one? Since I have a sound card with studio monitors connected, I would like to use them to work. Thanks for the help!

@SadBoyZero No problem at all, you can definitely still use your desktop audio if you prefer and I don't actually think you'll need any cables -- you'll just need to switch the setting back to your Macbook audio after connecting usually. I do this all the time with my Airpods on my Macbook Air M1.
Cost wise, I know it's more but you may want to get the Quest 3 so you've got that full color passthrough if you need to check on any equipment in the studio etc without taking off the headset. In the Quest 2 it will be much harder to see via the passthrough and you'll need to take the headset off often to see any equipment or instruments in the studio etc.
Good luck with your Quest experience either way!
