Meta forced me to update my Oculus account to a Meta account. After I did this, my Oculus didn't start beyond the repeating three dots... I tried everything, but nothing worked.
Finally I decided to factory reset the headset, removed the device in the Oculus mobile app and remove the app from my phone.
After I reinstalled the app, I started the Oculus Go. This time it's asking me open the Oculus mobile App to connect the headset. In the App I can 'see' the headset and select is. The App then tries to connect, but tells me this headset is already connected to my Meta-account. It advices me to restore the factory default on the headset, which I have done already several times... is this where I toss a perfectly good headset in the bin, or is there a way that I can still get this to work again?
Also, I'm not aiming that vitriol directly at you, I know you just work there. I'm just angry that when I was searching for a GO headset it never came up that it was discontinued. Google just provided multiple places to purchase it. Now after purchasing it I'm realizing I threw money away. Also as a prior GO owner and a former Quest 2 owner an email would have been nice saying the GO was going away.

is this how you treat all early investors in your product ? If it wasnt for the people like myself you would never of had a product to sell now how about writing us a good fix ?
I got an Oculus Go, and I tried setting up a pin so none of my family could get in, but it set me up with a pattern. Not a pin. I can't even factory reset it. If I try to factory reset it on my phone, it will say I need the pattern. There's no way get it, and it cost me at least 360$
