can't use Quest Link and AirLink to connect to the PC anymore

I made sure that AirLink and Quest Link were working fine before, but now I'm facing the following issues:

1. When trying to connect using Quest Link via cable, the Quest PC page keeps spinning while searching for my Quest 3, and after a long wait, it shows that it can't find my Quest 3.
2. When using AirLink to wirelessly connect my Quest 3 to the PC, it can find the PC, but when I click to connect, it waits for a long time and then shows an error.

I've tried the following methods but still can't solve the problem:

1. "Turned off Link on Quest 3, restarted the device, and then turned it back on."
2. "Changed the Link cable."
3. "Uninstalled the PC Quest app, deleted the related files on the C drive, and then reinstalled it."

I also missed one point: I logged out of the PTC.

I am also facing this problem for few months. 

The following crutches help me: 

Complete restart of the headset and Meta Quest Link (Settings -> Beta -> Restart Meta Quest Link)

If I can’t restart meta quest link through the settings, then I forcefully disable all meta quest link processes in the task manager (ctrl+shift+esc)

If all this does not help, I continue these steps until it works, sometimes it takes 15 minutes

This problem has been around for quite some time, but meta is in no hurry to fix it

@kino0304  other things to try, ensure the PC app is also not on the PTC. What GPU do you have as the supported GPU list and how it's implemented is a lot of a car crash.

Have a look at the SteamLink and Virtual Desktop apps on the quest store to stream PCVR to the headset.

Thank you for your suggestions. I hope Meta can fix it soon. Although there are other streaming apps, like VD, that can be used, many people still have a need for wired streaming.

@kino0304  I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for meta to fix anything anytime soon. 

There are methods of getting Virtual Desktop to run over a wired connection.
