Was having problems installing games so i read on here to uninstall the oculus app. When i tried reinstalling the oculus app it wont install!! waited to the next day and was able to install the app and get a game on it. then the problem happened again and i couldnt install anymore games. I tried making a back up file of the games i downloaded and i think i messed up so i just uninstalled the app. now it wont let me install the app again. Getting very very frustrated with this.
I've never had any problems downloading Oculus software that required me to use a VPN. Very occasionally, local Oculus servers have problems and I need to wait for these to be fixed (usually within 24 hours). I suggest that everyone who has found it necessary to use a VPN contact Oculus Support and let them know so their tech people can look into this and hopefully fix it. Good luck and cheers mates.

Well literally a year after my last comment I'm having the same problem I had before. I did a PC wipe and Windows 11 install and now I'm having difficulty reinstalling all my apps again. I have probably 100GB worth of apps and all but the last 5 are successfully installed.
These last 5 though continuously fail... "Sorry, we couldn't install Everest VR. Please contact Oculus Support" is the message that pops up within 5 seconds of clicking the install button. It's doing the same thing with the other 4 apps.
The other 50 apps I have though installed fine. It makes no sense and is so unbelievably annoying. I've done the same things I did before such as disabling antivirus and logging into a VPN... but these 5 apps continuously fail. I just purchased a new app off the app store and it downloaded fine!

So this is a problem with a "local Oculus server?" I don't get it.
