chromatic aberration on the Quest 3 (Still present after v62)

My Quest 3 shows very noticeable chromatic aberration, particularly when viewing purple objects on a dark background. The easiest way to test this is by going to Twitch in the browser or (less obvious) looking at the Social icon on the icon bar when it's near the edge of the FOV. Is this normal or is this a problem with my unit?

Hey @earthberth, can you verify if your headset has v62 installed? You should be able to confirm version in your settings.

My headset has v62.

It's also strange that after the update every time I take off the headset it switches to the virtual environment. When I put it back on it's still there for a second and then it switches back to passthrough.

And the UI is somewhere on the ground or even in another room outside my room setup and guardian boundaries so I have to recenter the view. On v60 there were no issues like that.

Yeah I’m having similar issues on v62, the virtual environment appears at an angle all glitchy and flashing for a moment then into my usual passthrough.

Also same with the menu appearing wherever it wants to.

Today I did a full factory reset. Unfortunately it didn't change anything. Same problems with the passthrough/virtual environment switching, UI still somewhere on the ground or in other rooms outside the guardian after putting on the headset, no spatial videos folder in the files app, chromatic aberration on the edges of the screen/lenses.

The v62 update is a total mess and doesn't give me a good feeling when I want to return to VR.

Thanks for keeping us updated. Still no word on a fix yet but I'll keep checking

Indeed, I finally received the v62 update today. I don't notice any significant improvement regarding chromatic aberrations. I hope Meta is working on the issue, or are we simply a minority far from being a priority at the moment? 🤔😐

I assure you they've been made aware but I don't have a timeframe just yet. Thank you for your patience.
