Hi harrypotter.589304,

Thank you for reaching out to us about this! We do want all users old enough to use or devices to enjoy them to the fullest.

The safety of our users is always a priority on our platform, this is especially true for children, which is why we have special rules for them. If you've created an account for a child which also required you to have a guardian account so they are parent managed, these accounts will remain child accounts until they reach the age of 13 (based on the date of birth set on the account) at that point, the 13 year old will be asked to agree to the Meta Terms of service and will have access to all features a normal account would. Further restrictions are determined by the parent and they would be able to choose to remove parental controls at this time.

There is in this case no way that you are able to change the age of the account yourself nor does the customer Support have the option make changes to the account date of birth to turn the account into a regular account. The account would need to age up naturally.

For more information on why we want everyone to have access to the right account can be found on the following Help Center article: Why you need to have the right Meta account for your age.

We hope this was able to inform you, but if you need anything else let us know!
