So this is insane. I've seen posts across reddit about the bloat of fba_ads files populating the root directory. I've seen people post that they had hundreds or even thousands. I clear them fairly regularly but starting about a week ago I had noticed my PC was slow to boot. Now i've got over 900,000 (909,296) that i'm in progress of deleting and there's actually more of the bloody things. I'm not going to tell you how much troubleshooting I tried for checking for faulty hardware before stumbling across this absolute cluster**bleep** on my hard drive.
Guys (meta), I know you're not going to fix your **bleep**. I'm just venting. But seriously, how did you ship this software with this sort of bug in it? It populated over a million files in less than two weeks of use? I hope that this helps someone out there! (there are reddit threads about commands you can use to delete them more easily than going in manually) If you're anyone working in tech support, I hope you'll pass this along to someone that cares. I'm a pretty novice coder and even I can write code to remove unused files or force one ones to overwrite the old ones.

Update! We're over 2 million of the little buggers. Just on the off chance there's a leaderboard for this, haha.

So how to fix this error when there were no updates for the helmet and there was no meta quest link application itself either.
