Hi dears,
I just got from a friend a oculus rift (not the S, the classical) wikipedia.org/wiki/Oculus_Rift than indeed seems like never used before
I try to setup, and seems a dead end due to the account changes lately last year, seems existing account were migrated, but there is no way (either I haven't found) to make new accounts
what I have done:
I download the 2.2Gb , and it comes to the login screen
- try login with facebook or instagram, comes to "continue in your browser" but it doesn't redirect neither loads anything on browser
- try "Have already an oculus account" with email, and it comes to ask for email and password
So I make a new account, on meta (https://auth.meta.com/settings/account/), and validate it works on oculus (https://secure.oculus.com/my/profile/)
There I can see my profile and so on.
But not able to login in https://auth.oculus.com/login-with-oculus/ -> username/password not correct
Back to the Oculus software, that email]password downs work > "Wrong email and/or password"
Neither the Forgotten password option, it does do a thing
Try also loading the app as admin, neither works, try also the correction update, same result
Anything to do with that headset ?
Can somebody get to help me with activating/setting up the OCULUS account ?
