Hi all been trying to send a game to a mate but all I get is this message
The recipient cannot redeem this gift, Pleases select another gift or recipient
the game is Resident Evil 4 for quest 2 which is what he has
any help will be much appreciated

Hey there! App Gifting is a great way to spread the joy of VR. Your friend is going to love you when they get to experience Resident Evil 4!
Please double check that code was sent to the correct email address, and that it has not expired. They will have had 30 days to redeem the game.

It won’t let me gift a game from the store to my mom from app says this person is unable to receive gifts may be restriction or region but she’s same area I live and no restrictions.

Hey @Livistis! I went ahead and fixed up the previous response, since we heard from the engineering team that this should be resolved now!
I hate to hear you're still having troubles sending gifts, are you seeing the same error message as the previous one shown in the thread? If so, definitely reach out to @MetaQuestSupport so our team can look into this further!

I am still having the same issue as pictured in @LoneStranger's post. I was charged already for the game contractors and it was taken from my bank account but im still receiving the error that I cannot send the gift due to "region, user restrictions, or other factors.". I have a second friend that was able to send my first friend a gift with no issues but I cannot. @Cookies-N-Scream @MetaQuestSupport .

1. Go to Meta Game Store
2. Click Redeem Code on game store
If sent to the correct email, you should be able to redeem the code. If the issue persists, please reach out to us via private message.
