Please someone help I'm desperate, I have a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti and it says the only reason I can't run pc VR because of my GPU, but the minimum amount needed is NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti / AMD Radeon RX 470 and RTX is anyways better than GTX just in general and for pc so why am I not compatible for pc vr? please anyone tell me why.

@Dank__Memerif you have alread tried what meta-support was suggesting (Select the preferred graphics processor in the nvidia control panel) and it is still not using the right gpu, you can try to deactivate your 'wrong' gpu via BIOS. If that solves the issue I would still suggest to look into why it does not work via the control panel (especially if you are on a laptop to save power if you don't need/use the dedicated gpu) but at least you can narrow the issue down a bit.

I have an RTX 4090 that has the same problem. I'm selling it because it's turned into a paperweight. It seems that the company is no longer supporting the new gpus series 40

i know the issue.... your oculus dashboard uses way to much Vram to run. u have 3gb of vram in use just having the dashboard running in conjunction with pcvr/steam vr running aswell and steam vr uses 500mb of vram to run there dashboard as do virtual desktop have the same 500mb of vram to run there dashboard. i get flawless pcvr performance on virtual desktop with oculuskiller running that shuts down the oculus dashboard when running my games. i get like 6ms and 120 fps in my games but when i use oculus dashboard and launch a steam game i get 27-57ms and 90fps and horrible frame drops du to the high vram running in the background form the oculus dashboard. thats with link cable. and without link cable its much much worse and i have a 40 series card with 16gb if vram......
its not us and our systems that we payed $7000 just to play vr its your software. please fix this so we can enjoy oculus again. i prefer to use my old vive over my new oculus quest 2 to play pcvr curranty and would love to come back to the oculus team.
