Please someone help I'm desperate, I have a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti and it says the only reason I can't run pc VR because of my GPU, but the minimum amount needed is NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti / AMD Radeon RX 470 and RTX is anyways better than GTX just in general and for pc so why am I not compatible for pc vr?  please anyone tell me why.

Hey there @nikitavt11! We know PCVR is amazing when immersed properly, so we'd love to lend a hand.

To best gain some insight, could you please answer the following:

  1. When was this first noticed?
  2. Is this the first time using PCVR or has it worked before?
  3. Are your GPU drivers up to date?
  4. Could you provide your PC specs besides GPU? (RAM, OS, CPU)

Along with this, could you test out the following:

  • Clean install the PC app:
    1. Disconnect the Link cable from the computer.
    2. Disconnect your computer from the internet.
    3. Backup any necessary content.
    4. Reboot into Safe Mode.
    5. Uninstall Oculus PC app using the Control Panel.
    6. Delete all Oculus folders from the following folder:
      • C:\Program Files
    7. Remove any Oculus folders from the following locations:
      • C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData
      • C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\Local
      • C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\LocalLow
      • C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\Roaming
      • C:\OculusSetup-DownloadCache
    8. Restart your computer in normal mode.
    9. Reconnect your computer to the internet.
    10. Install Oculus PC app again using the setup tool from our website here.
    11. Reconnect the Link cable and re-test the headset.

How do I switch from GPU 1 to GPU 0 because i need GPU 0 to work and not GPU1

Hey there! Thanks for getting back to us. We see you need to switch GPUs. No worries. We have this for you to try and get them switched.

  • Open the NVIDIA control panel.
    • One way to do this is by right-clicking on an empty space on the desktop and selecting NVIDIA control panel.
  • Select 3D settings > Manage 3D settings from the menu.
  • Open the Program Settings tab and select your game from the drop-down menu.
  • Select the preferred graphics processor for this program from the second drop-down menu. Your NVIDIA GPU should appear as "High-performance NVIDIA processor."
  • Save your changes.

Please give this a try and let us know if it works for you.
