i used to play in the past pcvr like minecraft, steamvr air link etc etc basically now i cannot do it at all, it seems like the ip on my quest changed everything is unusable what am i supposed to do now? i wanted to play with my friend and all i can tell him is "oh yeah nah air link and steam link doesnt work on my quest" even though it works on his and we have the same quest and do mind IT DID WORK in the past, any fixes? anything at all im desperate to fix it, i tried changing the ip on my pc to the same as the one my quest (Quest 3S) and the connection actually stopped working at all on my pc as if i didnt have a ethernet connection (im on a desktop pc so i use ethernet no wifi)
You can't have the same IP address twice on the network. That's why your PC stopped communicating. What IP addresses do (did) the PC and headset have? The probably start 192.168, in which case they are safe to post in public
Im pretty sure my quest has 192.168.1.74 and my pc has 102 at the end basically i dont know why it stopped working, last time i used it was probably last month trying to play euro truck 2 simulator on steam vr through air link
