head tracking texture overlay shifts.

So this is a bit of a weird one. I was trying to isolate to Chromatic Isolation issue and noticed that with HL2 in a dark area some textures would experience CA with head tracking but not with mouse or keypad movement. I shot a video of it through the lens (sorry about the horrible quality). but you most likely can easily reproduce it.

Go into a dark bathroom in the first level (before you meet up with Alex) and look at the dark tiles on the walls The dark tiles will have a huge CA shift when you move your head back and forth (the shift is 20-40% the width of the tile) the same goes for the dark crud on the bathtub. If you make the same motion with the mouse or keyboard there is no shift.

I cant figure for the life of me what could be causing this.

Video to follow, need to get it hosted somewhere first.
