hello i need help with my vr because i log on to it and it says 

It looks like there isn’t an account associated with gmail.com. Make sure you use an account given to you by your organization (for example, your university or the company you work for).

Hey!

 

It seems your device thinks that you are trying to set up a business account.

We are aware that this has happened to a few headsets so please follow these steps to fix this!

 

First perform a factory reset of the headset:

  1. Turn off your headset.
  2. Hold the power and volume (-) button on your headset down simultaneously until the boot screen loads on your headset.
  3. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Factory Reset and press the power button.
  4. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Yes and press the power button.

Second:

Do not set up the device just yet, go to this link, https://www.meta.com/help/quest/software_update/ and process a sideload update on your headset.

 

Once this is complete, perform another factory reset. When setting up your headset from here, do not use the mobile app, instead use a PC or a Laptop, if your account is linked with your Facebook or Instagram, make sure you log into that first!
