how do i know if my rift s is in warrenty

bought it used, bought the cable, just want to know if i can get controllers.

It's almost certainly not, unless the original purchaser managed to buy an extremely generous warranty in the first place, and that warranty is transferrable. The chances of replacement controllers, even under warranty, is extremely slim anyway.
