how to connect quest 2 to phone

Hello. I have an issue that is rather simple, but it is not. When I am trying to connect to my phone app with quest 2 it says finding device and then connecting, but it doesn't do anything. But when I turn off headset it says like "OMG I am connected, say what do you see" but headset is turned off. Am I doing something wrongly? Is there some sort of guideline of what to do? Please help.

P.S. I have iPhone but I think it doesn't matter

Hey @Fireboy086! We can see how that can be a problem, having your phone connect to the Quest device is a very important piece of enjoying VR. Let's go ahead and provide you with some basic troubleshooting, that will hopefully fix the problem! 

  • Check your Wi-Fi signal. If your signal isn't strong, try moving closer to your wireless router (internet connection device).
  • Check to make sure your headset and mobile phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Make sure that your app is up-to-date.

I have the same problem it won’t connect oculus to iPhone app I’ve tried putting the code in manually and everything 

Why is this the only ever advice you guys offer as support? 

What really is the point to you when a sticky note suffices?

 

"Hard reset the headset, reinstall app, check wifi"...doesn't help anyone with issues.

 

What you really need to do is release an APP that works as intended!

Or have the firmware enable access to the headset menu.

 

My headset and controllers are all paired, access the same wifi, but the Meta Horizon App -install to headset-button just remains blue and doesn't do anything!

You won't get anything beyond the 'scripted responses'
