i’ve been waiting for well over a month for my oculus go replacement because of “logistical issues”

i sent my oculus go in to their warehouse and it was received and signed for on aug 7th. they promised that they would have a new or refurbished unit sent out to me within 3 to 5 business days. it has been much longer than 3 to 5 business days. so i wrote them an email on aug 19th asking them, “hey guys—where is my new unit??” they said they’d look into it immediately. i got an email back asking me to give them my name, address, and my tracking number for the unit that i sent to them. i have them all of that info. then like FIVE OR SIX DAYS LATER i get an email saying that they’re sorry it was taking so long and that the wonderful response to the new rift and the quest had them bogged down and that they were backed up weigh orders. then like a week and a half later i’m like—“okay guys—where the heck is my new go!!??” and i get a response back a day later saying that there was a—get this—a”logistical problem” with my new unit and that they were working to “isolate the problem.” and i’m thinking...what a load of horse manure!! this is the latest email that i got from them.. it has my ticket number and it has them talking about their “logistical problems.” i’m thinking—JUST THROW A DAMN GO IN A BOX AND SEND IT TO ME!! it’s not that difficult...logistical issues aren’t keeping you from doing that!! just pick up a unit, slap a ups  sticker on it, and send it to my house for christ’s sake!!

Hello Joshua,

There was a small logistical issue with the replacement. We've isolated this and working on correcting it.

When your replacement ships it will be sent to the address that you provided via ticket #813903.

okay...12 hours after posting this thread in this forum and in the subreddit, i get an email telling me that my unit is on its way with a tracking number...

I’m in the middle of this exact situation with my Quest. I’m very frustrated.

Sorry to hear that guys Austin send them an email every few days until you get a proper reaponse.
I like their headsets but their logiatics bites which Is why I buy through amazon.
