infinite app updating loop and oculus not detecting rift cv1 sensors

Hello! (in labels I used rift s because there isn't a rift cv1 anymore) basically my issue is when I open my oculus app it just goes on infinite updating loop (pic. 1) it pops up every time I open the app. 

The second issue I'm having is that the oculus app isn't detecting none of my sensors. I already reinstalled the app, tried plugging them in different ports, nothing helped. as you can see (pic. 2) behind the 'update required' window there's a window which shows which cv1 cables are plugged in my pc. I got all of them plugged in, but the sensors simply don't register. any help?

Hey there Wousee4k,

 

Thank you for uploading screenshots, and confirming the troubleshooting steps you've already taken. Can you try these steps:

 

  • Update USB drivers
  • Remove any USB splitters/Extensions
  • Disconnect the headset cable from the PC and from the headset and inspect it for and damage (Bent pins, frays, twists, kinks, etc.)
    • Note: When reconnecting to the PC, you should connect the USB cable first, then the display port cable to the dedicated graphics card.
  • Reboot the PC
  • Try the headset on another computer (if possible)

In the event the issue still persists, we may need to take a look at your logs. Can you slide us a private DM and then we can get you to the right place.
