left controller pairing issues (blinking sos)

so ive been having this issue with my left controller where it turns on starts blinking sos but isnt visible on my vr, so what i try is to remove the battery and put it back, nothing changes from that so i go into the meta app and i unpair and repair them to my vr but doing that sometimes will prompt a "updating firmware" but then if it completes the controller goes back to blinking sos and not being visible or working, there were a few times where the controller would work but my issue right now is that i factory resetted my vr in an attept to fix it and now because my controller isnt working my vr is stuck in the controller pairing screen because my controller just cant pair. ive tried using the support side of meta and its all the same blah blah about doing stuff i already did before a ton of times. my right controller is perfectly fine and my vr runs amazing just not my left controller. so what do i do at this point, because no forums or any support page has this issue. EDIT:  the light to my left controller has gotten more and more dim and now i can almost not see it, so im guessing that the controller hardware has just died. also i dont have the warranty anymore it expired, im prob going to get a new replacement but this issue should still be worked on since someone else might get this issue.

ah yes i go to buy a new replacement controller and guess what? out of order in canada. god i love the new meta brand (i miss oculus)
