My son, created a Meta account in 2024 to use his Meta Quest headset. At the time, I accepted his account as a supervised (child) account.
Now, when he tries to log in, he uses his Facebook account (which works fine), and Meta does allow that. However, because there’s already a Meta account tied to the same email — and that Meta account has been suspended — he gets a "Policy Violation" error (screenshot attached).
The issue is:
His Meta account no longer appears under my Parent Area.
I can’t see his username or profile.
So we are locked out with no way to manage or recover his account ourselves.
We already tried reaching out to support by email yesterday, but it just felt like a bot replying and repeating itself, without giving us a real way forward.
We really need help getting access restored so Valdemar can use his Meta Quest again. I have tried to get support during the weekend but keep getting asked the ssme question again and again.
