I really hope you can help me, this is my last resort. I can't log in to my instagram or facebook accounts. I have tried all FAQ pages and help centres, but nothing seems to work.
On December 9, 2024, my instagram account got hacked while I was overseas. I managed to secure my facebook accounts and emails. The hackers immediately changed the phone number and email address I had linked to this account. They also unlinked my facebook account and attached it to another facebook account. After I few weeks I decided to become meta verified on facebook to get support, and they kindly got my account back on January 5, 2025 They recommended two-factor authentication, however that is were more issues started. My instagram account got suspended a few times (I think due to spam/fraudulent messages from the period it was hacked) and everytime I got it back within minutes of supplying a video selfie or a copy of my passport. After this happened a few times my facebook account got suspended due to my instgram account being suspended, telling me to log in onto instagram to regain access to my facebook account. (not giving me any other options to regain access to my facebook account) However I can't log into my instagram account anymore as the two-factor authentification codes do not get sent via text or email at all. I have tried to use different email addresses for recovery, but no emails are being sent from my instagram account at all. This has been going on for over 3 weeks now.
I'm at a loss. I have travelled the world and met many beautiful people from all over the place, my only way of staying in contact with these friend is via facebook and instagram.
