meta login and account creation verification code not working

so I just got my first VR headset the quest 2 and when I tried to make an account for it, it asked for verification code I didn't get it when I click to resend it it gave me an error message, I have spent the past 5 hours trying to fix it and so far i have got nothing.

Same issue here - already had contact with support team. Told me, that it is a global problem and they are working on it...
