meta quest 3 will not turn on

my meta quest 3 wont turn on even when i charge it or try to go into the boot menu, it stays a black screen and no audio ever comes out

Hi there, we understand that you are having issues with the Meta Quest 3's display appears black and we recommend you try these following details: 

 

Ensure the headset is powered on (check if the power LED is on)

  • If you have trouble powering the headset back on after performing a factory reset, hold down the power button for 30 seconds.
  • If there appears to be no power, attempt to charge the headset for 2 hours.
  • If the headset powers on, but still no display is present:

Remove any unsupported third-party accessories that may affect boot (such as external battery packs, accessories that plug into the USB-C port, etc.)
Hard Reboot the headset: Hold down the power button and volume down button for 30 seconds until you hear the boot-up sound
 

If the boot-up sound is not heard:

  • Hold the power and volume (-) button down simultaneously until the boot screen loads on your headset.
  • Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight "Boot Device" and press the power button.
  • Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Yes and press the power button.
