my computer dosent meet the updated minimum specs.

my quest 3 dosent seem to run in vr saying i dont meet minimal specs. im afraid of making things worse going in with some of the apparent fixes, as i understand some of the language but simply dont know how to do the steps being proposed. please help as right now my quest 3 is pretty useless.

Meta impose artificial limits on the supported hardware to try to ensure that everybody has a passable experience. Thos elimits only apply to Link and Airlink. Alternatives like Virtual Desktop, Steam Link and ALVR don't impose any such artificial limitations so they may suit you better.

It would help to know the specifications of your computer though, particularly the GPU.

Hi. Have a nitro 17. 

1tb storage, intel i7 13 gen

Rtx4060 gpu, 32gb ram. 

Between 500 to 900 wifi speed with wifi6.

I have the quest link cable. 

I know a few people with similar spec laptops and I believe they did some stuff with the settings and it fixed the problem.  I just don't understand some of the things they did, and I don't want to make things worse.
