I bought quest 3 charging dock from meta. Problem is my touch plus controllers which came with the quest 3 headset has charging contacts on the battery cover. It will not charge on this new charging station which is made for quest 3.
Did meta change the touch plus controllers in mid-stream making this new charging dock unusable for charging my style of touch plus controllers? Help!
@robert.fike.7165 is your quest 3 second hand or a refurbished unit from meta? As new controllers do not come with charging contacts on the battery cover.

@robert.fike.7165 if you bought the charging dock from meta, like the one in the video, then it should come with its own compatible batteries which you must replace for the dock to work. Check out any recent Q3 unboxing videos and you'll see that they don't come with charging contacts.
I have oddball controllers. Meta support even had me remove the contacts bout the battery lid still would not fit no matter what battery used. Meta support wants me to return the controllers.
