Hi again, @vrsharky. Thank you for that clarification. For the record, you can certainly use a gaming controller for Xbox Cloud Gaming, but as of right now, the Nintendo Joycons are not on the list of compatible controllers, which can be found here. The only Nintendo controller that is compatible would be a Nintendo Pro Controller. Due to the Joycons being made exclusively for the Nintendo Switch, they will not work with anything Meta-related without being heavily modified. If you have any other questions for us, please reach out again.

Hi there, @vrsharky. We know how important it is for our users to be able to enjoy the VR world the way they want to. We certainly want that for our users as well. That being said, the only compatible controllers that we can recommend for the Quest 3 are the MetaQuest Touch Plus controllers that came with the headset, and we do not support any other controllers. The Nintendo Joycons will not map correctly with the Quest 3 headset, as they are only designed for the Nintendo Switch. We know this may not be the answer you wished to hear, but we wanted to offer some insight into this issue. If you have any other questions for us, please do not hesitate to reach out again.

i'm not trying to use the regular headset with those controllers, i'm trying to use xbox cloud gaming with the joy-cons. because you're supposed to be able to connect your own non-meta controller via bluetooth to be able to use the xbox cloud gaming app. when i try this, it's mapping the joy-con's controls differently than normal
