Greetings @nerdzilla1954. What an awesome question! That's a fairly new GPU, so it would be nice to have an update soon. However, sometimes we may hear anything about updates until about a week or two before they're scheduled to be released. I'll keep my eyes posted and will keep you up to date if I hear anything.

And I ask the community to share any news as well.

Have a happy new year!

Kudos, kudos and more kudos!

Ive got the 7900xt getting the same message when I started the app the other day it said there was a driver update so I got my hopes up but its still giving me the same thing. Just wish customers mattered to any company's  these days.

I don't think they will ever fix it AMD sucks and quest sucks with AMD

yeah something is wrong when it says your pc is not powerfull enough with a 7900xtx paired with a 7800x3d .

Okay, a week or two has passed. My Oculus is not working well with AMD 7900 And today is hmmm September 30th ? I think your guess was wrong.

Hi there @ltnightfly! While it has certainly been some time since that GPU has come out, it does appear our minimum requirements for use with Meta Quest Link does not list the 7900 XT card as currently supported. This means the compatibility of that specific card has not been confirmed, and may not allow for the full functionality. As our teams work to test out and confirm the best set up to use, we look forward to adding new information on that.

In the meantime, feel free to keep an eye out on the Meta Quest Blog for more updates down the line!

Howdy, howdy @ltnightfly! We're checking in to make sure we were able to clear up the situation regarding our currently supported graphics specifications, or if there's anything else we can help out with at all. Please don't hesitate to reach back out, as we'd love to work with you through that!

The RX 7900 XT and the XTX are flagship AMD graphics cards that work perfectly well with all other forms of VR. I can't see what the hold up is in getting these cards working with the Quest PC software? Maybe borrow Steam VR's settings if you're struggling?

I will say one thing, I was interested in a Quest 3, but starting up the Meta software only to be greeted with the same message I was getting nearly a year ago has put me off. I won't get one now util this is sorted out.

why does it take you guys over 305 days to test for a flagship device and optimize, if i buy a 500$ headset plus add ons and i have a top line gpu that is almost a year old is should be compatible and work well, itself i get buggy link capabilities and buggy vr that has stuttering vs a 3070 laptop
