browser has suddenly stopped working on oculus go, no updates so its not thgat, crashes whenever you try to open vr. very annoying tried to re pair to app but app wont go past the heath and safety acknowledge button on set up and factpry reset isnt working in the go either.. have lots of paid apps so dont want to go down the delte data option as dont want to risk losing all ive paid for.

Still no update! Was told it would be available to all no later than the 12th. How hard can it be to push an update to all users?

You can still reply to old messages and everyone can just directly message Ryan also. I suggest people do so.

2/13/22 at 9:53am est. STILL NO UPDATE.
I know they THINK you can casually brick devices and do absolutely nothing to help the owners of those devices and people will just upgrade, but the problem is the complete dismissiveness of the powers that be. Why would anyone want to continue to financially support a business who flippantly disregards people? We're gonna pay EXTRA to update to a newer device when you've been giving us the middle finger to our face for over a month?!!?

And the ironic part is that I actually considered upgrading and now there is a less-than-zero chance I'm going to do that BECAUSE OF THIS SITUATION. The goal in not caring about us and our devices is to get us to upgrade, but the result is making someone who was considering upgrading no longer want to do it because you people have been spitting in our face and lying for nearly 2 months.

Same problem as everyone else. Just spoke to support and was told I would be notified when the problem was fixed. When I pointed out that that's what we've all been hearing for months and was an extremely unsatisfactory answer they mentioned that they agreed, but was the best they could do and anything else would be above their station.
Fair and honest, but unhelpful.
This is the problem in dealing with support. Anyone you can talk to has a script to follow and can promise very little. The problem is with whoever is higher up and is allowing a problem like this to persist to for so long with such a poor response.

And by the way, they are censoring posts here.
I have replied that I did the factory reset thing to no avail. Update still does not show up and browser still crashing.
In addition, I copied the response to my support ticket stating the problem. The support representative said that the engineers are aware of the problem but a date to the fix could not be given yet.
Utterly incredible attitude for a big company like this. Just image if Apple did the same thing and took almost 2 months (and counting) to solve a critical issue on their iPhones, unbelievable right?
Even is the update arrives some day, the damage to the customers is done. (And your reputation will suffer for it sooner or later).
For me is clear, no more Oculus products ever again. And for sure I’ll encourage people to stay away from Oculus devices.

I did a chat with support, and they promised it would be fixed by the 12th. Apparently not. But they did also give me a $20 credit, so that was nice. FYI!

@ oculus_Ryans.... so why has this still not been fixed.....updates is rolling out?.....i think not.....still no update or corecrion of constant crashes....please can you update the comunity to whats actually happning?
