browser has suddenly stopped working on oculus go, no updates so its not thgat, crashes whenever you try to open vr. very annoying tried to re pair to app but app wont go past the heath and safety acknowledge button on set up and factpry reset isnt working in the go either.. have lots of paid apps so dont want to go down the delte data option as dont want to risk losing all ive paid for.

no update here, I've tried factory resets...tried deleting oculus app and reinstalling to force update and nothing! this thread does have almost 45,000 views so there are a few of us looking for this fix.....the oculus Ryan guy did say he would state when the roll out was finished, maybe its taken longer then originally anticipated? Ryan please let us know if the roll out is still on going or unless the peeps that say theirs is working are trolls for the oculus company and there never was a real fix? my tinfoil hat is tingling lol

It's been a month since this topic was posted.
This is a fatal problem because you can't watch VR on a device that watches VR.
By the way, is the oculus quest browser working properly?

Same here, I'm shocked by the lack of care or support on this issue. Guess Oculus doesn't care about their image. I am certainly giving bad reviews everywhere, I am pissed!

@Anonymous, the rollout is still going on. I'll be posting in here the moment I hear it's at 100% and will mark this thread as resolved as well so everyone gets notified.

Hey @Reiziger, that's the first I've heard of any video issues after the update, so please make sure to submit a bug report if it's still going on. It might be good to work with the support team on that as well, just to make sure that there's nothing causing you trouble.

.. why the heck is it not possible to push the update to everyone or to let the user force the update?- Since weeks you are teling that the rollout is going on.- What is the problem?
Good enduser support is also making transparent what the problems are and why a solution takes longer than expected.- Just say what the issue is, thats the least you can do.- I am supporting enduser by myself and the way how here is communicated is the worst thing you can do, promise and nothing happens, promise and nothing happens, promise and nothing happens.
Please give transparent information, what is going on and what the issue is. Is the update faulty, servers are crashing, to less resources?- WHAT IS GOING ON?
And eventually your update management should be reworked, it obviously cannot handle this amount of devices.- This is really NOT putting a good light on OCULUS and their ability to support their product and software.

Not much to say except that I have been frequently checking to see if the update is there. It never is. I'm doubting it ever will be. Shocking and disappointing. I will never buy another Oculus/Meta product again and will encourage others to do the same. Of course the problem is that Facebook aka Meta does not care.

I just used mine again for a little over one hour today and there were no problems at all this time around. The sound worked on everything I played and the VR was perfect too. Perhaps I might start to think about buying a Quest now.
