browser has suddenly stopped working on oculus go, no updates so its not thgat, crashes whenever you try to open vr. very annoying tried to re pair to app but app wont go past the heath and safety acknowledge button on set up and factpry reset isnt working in the go either.. have lots of paid apps so dont want to go down the delte data option as dont want to risk losing all ive paid for.
OK, got the update and all's well. Actually worked fine before but maybe because I don't use WebVR or Firefox? In any case it's nice that Oculus is still supporting my almost 4 year old Go. It certainly cannot hold a candle to my newer Quest 2 but it's still pretty handy for media viewing and simple games. Soooo much better than iPhone VR imho. Also nice and easy to pack and use when travelling. With an external 10000mahr battery pack it has heaps of runtime. Thanks Oculus and cheers.

At this point it’s not about getting or not getting the update. It’s about how they treated their customers. Totally unacceptable how they responded to the problem they caused. And taking forever to send out the new update to fix the problem they created is just a slap in the face.
no update. still the malware-version. what is the business purpose of this company? damage to property? i think even the mafia has a better and fairer management of complaints
@martin.tamm This was posted about 16 pages ago by @morganplus8 and I checked mine after it was updated yesterday and it's the same. BTW to see the browser/chromium versions you need to select browser, then the 3 top right dots then browser info.

now Saturday 12 February the Oculus Go browser is still no working (for already 1.5 months and counting) because oculus/facebook/meta continue to fail to solve it
i brought back the headset to factory settings and removed the oculus app, then installed it. yes now they had an update for the browser/software .... But you probably would have guessed the UPDATE is NOT working either.
in the browser if you look at VR and do ok WebXR you hear sound but no vision (the circle continues forever).
