Ive never seen anyone else with this problem. After maybe 10 minutes of playing beatsaber or really anything on the quest 2 my screen will freeze and I can look around. And behind myself is a flipped upside down image of what I saw in front of me and the areas in between the images are void or stretched smeared versions of what I saw before the freeze. I have to unplug and replug the link cord back into the headset and open link again to get back and it crashes again after about 10 minutes again and then you repeat until you're too frustrated to keep trying 😛

hey, I did try adding that environmental variable, it did not work for me. What seems to be working for me is to unplug all other USB devices (keyboard and mouse included) and only have the Quest 2 plugged in via link cable. Perhaps something is causing interference? It is inconvenient, but at least it seems to be working. I will give an update after more extensive troubleshooting.

I tried it, and it doesn't work for me. And it's the same thing as the OP. The game crashes, but I still can look around. None of the methods stated above work. And it even freezes right as I start Oculus link. I've tried wired and wireless, same thing. It also says that my Oculus has a General Device Problem when It crashes. I've had this problem for as long as I've had my Quest 2, and sometimes it crashed more, sometimes it went a couple of weeks without crashing, but now it's at it's record high. I'm so frustrated about this thing. I just want to play my games in peace. I've tested every solution that I found on the internet, and still nothing. Please help

THIS! It fixes (better: avoids) a critical OpenSSL bug in Intel CPUs.
If you experience symptoms as described by the OP, this should be the first fix to try out.
To Oculus support guys: Give people this advice if you really want to help. More details in the Intel documentation: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/troubleshooting/openssl-sha-crash-bug-req...

There is no error message. The game just freezes on the last frame, but I can still look around. Behind I see an upside down version of the last frame, and the sides are just a mess. It also crashes when I use Airlink.
This problem happens on games from both Steam and Oculus pc app.
Nothing about the environment has changed.
I've hard reset my Oculus Quest 2, clean reinstalled the Oculus pc app, changed the USB power settings, completely reinstalled Windows 11, Changed the OculusDebug settings, Updated all the USB drivers through device manager, Verifying all Steam VR files, Tried every USB port on my pc.
My PC specs
Ryzen 7 5800X
RTX 3060
32GB DDR4 3200Mhz
B550 Motherboard

Also the game keeps running on the monitor, it's only the headset that is crashing
