Hello, I've been experiencing an issue that has never happened to me before. To start, I've recently been into playing vr again, and to end my long break from it, I decided to boot up steam vr and play Blade and Sorcery through link. Everything worked fine besides poor performance, but I fixed that the same day. after that I decided to play Hotdogs Horseshoes and Hand grenades, everything worked flawlessly, no major fps drops, crashing, or freezing. It's when I tried to play Pavlov that I started experiencing problems with freezing. When I'd open the game up, I was able to get through the main starting credit stuff and then I got to the main menu where the game froze entirely, I could still see the last frame before the freeze but it was just a flat image in an endless void where I could look behind me and see the same image but flipped. Weirdly though, I could still hear the audio of the game, as if it weren't frozen and I had to force quit it though task manager. I didn't think much of it cause I was playing the game right after a major update. I tried to boot the game up again but everything froze entirely on my steam library page, like how it happened in the game. This time however I had to restart the oculus app because when I'd try to reconnect link, I would just get infinite black triple dot loading screen. So after that I just said "screw it!" and uninstalled Pavlov and installed Bonelab in its place, thinking it was just Pavlov that was going to act weird. I boot up Bonelab, guess what, the same thing happened. This time, however, I was able to reach the loading screen for the first level of the game, so I know the game isn't freezing instantly, but this time it just fully goes to not responding. the same thing could be happening with Pavlov, but it doesn't even go to not responding. I don't think its a pc problem cause I can run Blade and Sorcery at maxed out settings, with mods, just fine. I'm still only able to play H3VR and Blade and Sorcery, but, any other game I've tried has not worked. I don't really know what's happening or how to fix it anymore than I've already tried, so I'm coming here as a last resort, hoping that someone has had this same issue before and knows how to fix it.
Here are my pc specs for anyone that's interested:
GPU: Nvidia RTX 3060
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
RAM: 32GB DDR4
OS: Windows 11
Headset: Oculus Quest 2

Okay, I think I found out what the problem was. There seems to be some VR games that don't like to work with Windows 11. Pavlov can run on Windows 11 though a patch the devs released recently, but Bonelab still doesn't have said patch. So, I just downgraded to Windows 10 and everything seems to be working fine now. Thank you for your help and patience.
Edit: I just went to the Bonelab directory in the files and turned on both run as administrator and disable full screen optimization. everything seems to be working fine on Windows 11 now.

Hey there, @ENG.Jack. We definitely understand how important it is for a game to run smoothly, rather than freezing up as you've described here. We'd be glad to look into this for you. Is this only happening with Steam VR games, or does this happen with games from our store as well? We'll be looking forward to hearing back from you!

Hello, assuming this guy is having the same issue i am, which im 90% he is, i believe that the issue is with oculus link, not the games being played. As stated before, the game keeps playing even after link crashes. I know nothing about coding in general, let alone vr, but i believe it has something to do with the oculus update from about a day ago, as the issue wasnt happening two days prior.

Hey there, @ENG.Jack. We appreciate you reaching out and letting us know you're having the same issue with the game freezing at weird moments. We know how inconvenient a freezing game can be, and we would be happy to lend a hand to get this sorted for you.
What version are you on after the update?
Can you send us a copy of the image you're seeing?
Have you updated your graphics card drivers? If not, here is how.
Manually assign the GPU
You can use Windows to manually assign which GPU is used by a specific process. This should have little to no side effects. To do so:
Close the Oculus Desktop software
Open Windows Settings > System > Display > Graphics Settings
Select Classic App from the drop down and click Browse
Select the OculusClient.exe
(By default, this will be installed C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-client\OculusClient.exe)
Click Options > High Performance > Save
Ensure the "High Performance" option has your dedicated graphics at the top of this menu.
Afterward, please restart your PC and reboot the headset.
With your headset on and powered on, press and hold the power button on the right side of your headset until you see the Power off screen.
Select Restart. Your headset will turn off and then turn back on.
If you're unable to restart your headset,
Press and hold the power button for at least 10 seconds. This will manually turn off your headset.
Wait 30 seconds.
Press and hold the power button until your headset turns back on.
If your issue persists, please let us know.

Hello,
I did everything that you asked me to and I'm very disappointed to say that it didn't work. Nothing has changed. Games are still freezing in the main menu.

Oculus App Version 54.0.0.110.284
I have not tried another link cable.
You can see that in this picture, the game is frozen with an hour glass thing in the bottom right corner. What you can also see the border between the game and the endless black void. While this is happening I can still hear the game audio like the game isn't really frozen. Keep in mind, I had just gotten done playing Boneworks and then tried to play Bonelab, leading me to getting this screen shot.

Seeing as you're having these issues in SteamVR, can you let us know if this issue persist on games from the Oculus app store?
You can visit https://www.oculus.com/experiences/quest/ and type in "free" in the search box for any free games and try to see if you're still having these issues.
Let us know how this goes!
