as of recent, the transition from passthrough to app and vice versa became nothing. and back to app just has flashing on the ground. outside of apps its fine
If it's working in the home environment, but not showing in game content, then the issue might have to do with game specific permissions. In that case, I'd suggest checking out your in-game settings first. If you still can't find a way to record your gameplay for specific games, then the next best step to figure out what's going on is to reach out to the game developers to see if they allow recording gameplay, or if they have any specific steps to enable it.
It can record gameplay on the games i thought didnt let it. Its just that i cant view it while ingame. But when outside of games, in my home enviroment, the videos work fine there. I've added that to the report as well.
Attached is a screenshot of what i see when viewing a video in a game like vrchat.
I was able to just check, and I could view a quick video I had recorded while I had Beat Saber open. I'd definitely suggest reporting this as a bug too just like you did!
