quest 2 controllers dont connect and just blink at me


in case you didnt read the title my right controller does not connect, idk why but all i know is that when i try and connect it, it works for a sec but then just stops tracking and starts blinking at me. i tried lots of things, but nothing worked. and one time and one time only it said "starting controller update 0%" then my left controller stoped working and disconnected. if someone else had this problem before and was able to fix it, please tell me how

Try taking out the batteries for a minute or 2 and re inserting them. Then do a hard reset of the headset by holding the power button and the volume rocker switch until the boot menu appears. Then select reboot.

If the blinking pattern is 3 fast blinks, 3 slow blinks, and then 3 fast blinks, then your controller is in SOS mode. In the past when I contacted Meta Support about this behavior, I was able to send the controller back and get a replacement due to the warranty coverage. If that's not possible for you, you may want to look into computer/hardware repair stores near you and get a quote for the repair to see if it's even worth it.

its not a SOS blink or i would have fixed it already it just 3 fast over and over

I’m curious if you ever figured out what the problem was? Both of my controllers just started doing this exact same thing. I’ve had this headset for 4 months with no problems, and now this.

For some clarification, please tell us, are your controllers still paired in the Meta Quest mobile app? Have you tried replacing the batteries with a completely different brand of battery? Also, have you tried using a different play space? Let us know and we can continue from there!
