quest 3 - not saving Beat saber progress in meta app

Hi, could anyome help please? My quest and my scores is not showing in the app meta. Sync is on. I have developer mode, cause modded version 1.28. The previous instalation worked with the higscore showed in the meta app. Then my friend had quest 3 for the evening, without wifi, then back at my home, it didnt work. I had to make reinstall, new modded version, to get back 1.28, i have mods it works well but it is not saving in the app anymore. Should I download any mod for that? Or what should be wrong? I also cannot restore backup because, i have backups only from the date that was wrong, no the early one. Help pls 🙂

Hey there, @alex.124838. We understand how important it is to see your device as well as your top scores on the app. Due to your modding the game, this could be the reason why it's not syncing properly anymore, and we don't recommend it. But we do want to help out any way we can in this, so we will ask a few questions.

 

  • Is this the only game that the sync isn't working properly or is this also happening on other games as well.
  • Have you attempted to uninstall and reinstall the app?
  • Have you attempted a repair of the app by doing following below
  1. Download and run the Oculus Installation Software (meta.com/quest/setup/)
  2. You will see a screen which says "Already Installed".
  3. Click the "Repair" option, and confirm again on the next screen.

Again we don't recommend modding as this will have effects on the games and apps itself.
