question - pc - meta quest 3

Hello, can Meta Quest 3 run on my PC with these settings? Is it compatible?

AMD Ryzen 7 8700G w/ Radeon 780M Graphics

Hey there, @Galaxysraio and welcome to the community forums!

Here you can find the PC spec requirements to use Meta Quest Link 

As it stands, the Radeon 780M GPU isn't supported for use with Quest Link. Meta are constantly testing and patching for new GPUs so it may be added on in future as a supported GPU but at the moment, you wouldn't be able to use Link on this PC setup 🖥

Quest Link does support select AMD cards as well. If you scroll down on the page on the above link it gives you the supported AMD cards. As the 780M isn't on the list, it would mean that it isn't supported as of the current moment 🙂

One last question, is there an on-board processor that supports the Quest 3?

The only guidance that Meta gives for processors is that anything from an Intel i5-4590/AMD Ryzen 5 1500X or greater is supported so your Ryzen 7 8700G would be supported 🙂

Ohhh okay, I see what you mean! 

Quest Link wouldn't play ball well with integrated cards. You could potentially try to but you'll likely experience instabilities so I wouldn't be able to recommend it unfortunately
