"Error performing query" - upon trying to buy a game in either app or on website

For a couple of days I have been trying to buy a couple of games for Quest, but every time I hit the buy button, I just get an "error performing query" message. This happens both in the Meta/Oculus Android app, and on the website, on either phone or PC.
I'm going to miss the sale 😞

Hey there! Payment issues can be discouraging when a sale is happening so we'd love to help out! 

In order to gain a bit more insight, could you please answer the following:

1. Have you tried other browsers? (Safari, Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc.)
2. How about other networks? (Mobile hotspot, cell data)
3. Is it the same error message on both the site and app? 
4. Do your payment methods meet our requirements? (See below)

Payment method requirements

1. Visa.
2. American Express (AMEX).
3. Mastercard.
4. PayPal.
5. The card must be associated with a billing address.
6. The card must be able to have funds added/reloaded to it. E-cards and virtual Mastercards should work, but most Gift cards do not have this option.
7. There cannot be purchasing restrictions placed on the card or network.
