"Finish setup" loading infinitely in meta horizon app for iOS

Hi,

I bought a refurbished 128GB Quest 3 model from John Lewis when going through the setup process, I am able to access apps on my headset, but when trying to access the developer mode settings in the meta horizon app the only options are "finish setup" and "factory reset". I have tried factory reset 5 times but nothing changes. When pressing "finish setup" leads to a page which just loads infinitely.

Few, I am not alone with this weird bug

I tried lots of things to fix this, nothing helps 😞

I desperately want to finish this setup and never go back to it again

And same regarding receiving the device today

I've had it since around launch

Decided to dust it off after not using it for a few months, and for some reason my left controller wouldn't connect (it gave the SOS blinking error)...

So I factory reset my headset, and now I'm stuck here. Can't complete the "Finish Setup" step, and my left controller is still not pairing correctly

I kinda wish I just left it in the case 😂

I have exactly the same issue as you with Meta Horizon on ISO device.
I also get my headset today (meta quest 3 128go)

 OK guys I've something new.

I finished to try the config with an Android device and ... it worked perfectly.
So I think that the issue is definitely on the IOS application side.

Hope this solution alternative will help you

Oh god.. just also got mine yesterday.. and have the same issue (except i have the german message).. i did factory reset. used other wlan, checked my everything (reseting wlan, resting router..). so the standard stuff.. also updated iphone from os17 to os18 for that.. no change. ... i'll try to get my hands on some android device.. maybe that helps...

Once you did the config on the Android device you can switch back on your iPhone cause you'll be able to get it configured on
