Let us skip third party component installation! I've not been able to install EchoVR for over 6 months because of this!
This was a problem with Steam as well, but you can skip third party component installation altogether on that platform, while we're forced to do it here if we want our game to be installed, because, golly gee, many games don't work when you just run them off their EXE on this platform either!
Most of us have already installed all the components. They're always the same.
VCRedist, .NET FrameWork, DirectX, Java... It almost never changes! This forced hand-feeding approach is absolutely infuriating for anyone that knows what they're doing!
