I recently updated to windows 11 and I get the above message when I try to use either my Rift S or Quest 3. Both headsets worked great on windows 10 the day before I installed win11. Sound plays through either headset and the app says its detected but then when trying to use the headsets I get the msg and nothing happens. I've tried updating all drivers, downgrading some drivers, resetting windows, downgrading windows, formatting one of my drives incase it had old oculus data on it, downgrading to windows 10, adjusting USB power management settings, reinstalling the app (including deleting files in appdata), giving OVR high priority in task manager, even updated something to do with C++. I am almost at the nuclear option of formatting all of my drives and removing all the partitions and media installing windows, I cannot fathom any other option. Please does anyone have a suggestion?
p.s. other programs/games had worked fine beforehand, haven't tested any applications since I started troubleshooting however.

The C++ thing I mentioned seems to have solved my problems. Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable. Downloading BOTH x86 and x64 got things working. When I first tried this method I only downloaded x86 and that did not fix my problem, so make sure to DOWNLOAD BOTH.

Oops, said downgraded windows twice. Also my pc specs are RTX 4070, i5-13600KF, MSI MAG Z790 TOMAHWAK WIFI, 32 gb ram.

Update: disconnected all drives and installed windows onto a single clean drive as well as flashed an older BIOS and the link app still has the same issues.

Hey there @NinjaSwag18! I'm one of the newer moderators here on the forums, and I was just going through the forums when I saw your thread. I figured I'd just hop in and personally thank you for posting the solution you found to your PCVR issue. Confirming solutions is always encouraged, and it's really useful for other people who might be having the same issue. Anyways, nice to meet you, and I hope you're putting that RTX 4070 to good use now! I recently ordered one myself, and can't wait to test it out.
