"USB DETECTED" Notification does not show up

I just got my Quest 3, I turned on developer mode via the mobile app, I turned it on in the headset, I am not on Do not Disturb and my Air link is off, The only problem I could think off is that my USB-C is bad but my pc does not have a USB-C cable since it is pretty old. The notification doesnt show up at all.

Hey there, @aarishthe32nd! Making sure the benefits of a good PC connection are available to you is essential for us, so we'd like to do everything we can to help! Before jumping into any troubleshooting, we do ask that you go ahead and disable developer mode, then restart the headset, as we don't have the tools to handle developer-specific issues (for those type of headset problems, we recommend reaching out to the Developer Support Center for assistance.) Once your headset is out of developer mode, please use the following steps to hard reboot and try that cable connection again:

  • Turn off your headset. 
  • Firmly hold the power and volume down (-) buttons on your headset simultaneously for about a minute, or until the boot screen loads on your headset. 
  • Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight 'Boot device' and press the power button to complete that.
