I've been trying to open the Oculus software on my computer so I can use the Oculus Link feature for the past few days. However, upon the start it says "Unable to connect with Oculus service", making me unable to use the software at all (as well as the Oculus Link feature). I've tried restarting my PC, using March 2018 installation patch, and fixing the Oculus software. However fixing it resulted in "installation failure", causing Oculus software to disappear yet still taking space on my PC. I couldn't find any other solution to that problem as there are no forums talking about this problem.

Thanks for the help, the issue was noticed a few days after I bought the oculus 2 (about three weeks ago) and all of the features worked perfectly fine. My PC met all the requirements and worked perfectly fine with the link feature.
I will try the listed steps and update you if it changes anything.
